COVID-19 Update March 2020

Saturday, March 21, 2020

We want to assure all of our patients that we are taking extra precautions to ensure that our clinic remains as clean & hygienic as possible during this stressful time. We value your health and our staff and will do our best to continue serving our amazing community.

We have increased the frequency of sanitisation and cleaning of our practice, providing hand sanitisers, Glen 20, removing pillow cases, face and bed covers and linen after every patient & we have diligent hygiene practices with all of our staff.

We have removed magazines from waiting room, and all flat surfaces are wiped down with alcohol based antiseptic every hour.

We also have an air purifier in reception to clean the air while you are in our reception area.

There are also a few ways that you, can assist us in providing a safe & hygienic space:

1. When you arrive at the practice, wash (or sanitise) your hands to remove any germs to keep our equipment and space clean. Likewise, after your treatment/class, wash your hands to ensure you protect yourself and leave clean, healthy and protected.

2. Tell reception if you have any flu-like symptoms; cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath, as the health of our team and other patients is paramount.

3. Tell reception if you have travelled to China, Korea, Iran, Italy or Japan in last few weeks.

4. Tell reception if you have been in contact with any person with a confirmed case of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and if so, must not attend for 14 days following the exposure.

5. Sanitise or Wash your hands after your treatment.

6. Stay home you if you are sick.

If you are feeling unwell, please stay at home to minimise the spread. We want you to take care of yourself and keep our community healthy and safe.

We will take advice from the Commonwealth and State Departments of Health and act on that advice. Your health is our priority and we are watching the warnings as this situation unfolds.

If at any time we are instructed to close the clinic, the length of the closure will depend upon the advice of the relevant government departments. If that were the case we will notify you via phone or SMS.

So if you don’t have any of the Coronavirus symptoms, we encourage you to keep your appointments. If you are concerned you can make an online video appointment or phone appointment with the practitioner of your choice. More information can be found on our website in the coming days.
