Kristin is an experienced Osteopath who has extensive additional training in working with musculoskeletal issues in infants, children, pregnant, and post partum women, in addition to having a solid background in general osteopathic practice.
She graduated from Victoria University in 2007, and has worked in several areas of Melbourne and the UK. She first joined the Coburg Osteopathy team in 2012 and after taking a couple of years hiatus to undertake post-graduate training at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London, she has been back on board since 2018.
Some of the conditions and concerns that patients commonly present to Kristin with include; - neck restriction and head shape concerns (plagiocephaly), - breast feeding difficulties associated with “tongue tie” or other bio-mechanical issues, - general concerns about posture or movement preferences, - playground and sporting injuries, - assessment of walking and running development, - pregnancy related pelvic pain, - postural strain in the pregnant and post partum periods.
In addition, Kristin has considerable training in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and enjoys treating patients of all ages to aid in the management of conditions such as headache, migraine, and jaw pain, amongst other complaints. Her favourite parts of practice are getting to the bottom of tricky problems, and meeting interesting people.
Kristin enjoys treating people of all ages and backgrounds, including LGBTIQ+ and gender diverse patients. She loves to have a chat about pets, travel, baking and dancing.
