Dr Carmen Marom

Carmen completed her Master of Osteopathy at RMIT in 2010, and continues to attend professional development courses each year which have covered skills such as dry needling, various forms of taping, shockwave therapy and range of other osteopathic techniques.

She is passionate in working with a wide variety of people and has fostered a particular interest in treating musicians and performers. She has found there is a tendency in this group to ignore or push through injuries or pain as it's "just part of the job". With treatment and education musicians, much like sportspeople, can increase their efficiency of movement to then perform comfortably, leading to a much more sustainable career. Carmen also welcomes and enjoys working with members of the LGBTIQ+ and gender diverse communities.

She is a registered practitioner with AHPRA, Osteopathy Australia and the Australian Society for Performing Arts Healthcare.
