Dr Kalita Jain
BSc (Clinical Science) MHSc (Osteopathy)

Kalita completed her Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University in 2005. Prior to this she completed a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University. She has been a member of the  Coburg Osteopathic team since 2008 and is back from some time off after having her son.

Kalita is qualified in dry needling, Clinical Pilates and Rock taping. She has a broad sporting history (including swimming, hockey, triathlons, distance running and more recently roller derby) from which to draw upon and share her knowledge of exercise prescription and training tips with her clients.

Kalita treats a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, upper and lower limb ligament sprains and tendon injuries as well as giving ergonomic, postural and nutritional advice. She welcomes mums and mums-to-be also!

Dr Kelly Smith
B.AppSc (Clin Sci), B.Osteo.Sci

Kelly particularly enjoys treating back pain during pregnancy, neck pain and headaches, sporting injuries and low back pain. She has a keen interest in exercise prescription, patient rehabilitation and preventative health care.

Kelly has been an active member of a number of sporting clubs over the years, by working as a sports trainer and also through competing in numerous sports, including Rowing, Swimming and Netball.

Kelly is a long standing member of the Coburg Osteopathic team and currently on maternity leave.  

Dr Jake Maher
B.AppSc (Clin Sci), B.Osteo.Sci
Jake graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy). Jake’s passion as an osteopath beganthrough his early teens as a result of suffering various sporting injuries and receiving effective osteopathic treatment to help manage them. Jake has always had a keen interest in guiding his patients through the management of their injuries and pains and prides himself on tailoring individual treatment and management plans to have his patients able to function to the best of their ability.

He has a strong interest in treating a wide variety of conditions and presentations ranging from sporting injuries to neck and back pain and headaches as well as treating patients from all walks of life presenting with both acute or chronic conditions.

Jake is a highly personable and enthusiastic practitioner who prides himself on building strong relationships with patients and watching them get back to doing what they love. Jake uses a direct and holistic hands on approach and uses a wide range of techniques and management strategies to achieve the best results for each individual patient. Jake has completed further training in EMS shockwave therapy, myofascial dry needling, taping and exercise rehabilitation and regularly incorporates these modalities into his treatment.

Outside of osteopathy, Jake enjoys watching and playing a wide range of sports, keeping active and socializing and going out with friends and family.
Dr Tino D'Angelo
Acupuncturist & Musculoskeletal Therapist

Tino D’Angelo is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner and Musculoskeletal Therapist. He has been in practice for over 15 years, and held academic positions at numerous educational institutions in Victoria. Tino is an accomplished practitioner and speaker, and has been invited to present at conferences both nationally and internationally on various topics in Chinese medicine and manual therapies. Tino has a particular interest in treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, however his integrated approach ensures a holistic treatment to address a range of conditions.

Marco Cecchin
B.Ex Sci, M. Physiotherapy, SFMA Level 1 and 2, FMS Level 1 & 2, FCS

Marco is a Physiotherapist who completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.  Prior to his masters, Marco completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from Charles Darwin University in Darwin.

Marco brings a diverse background and life experiences working in the Northern Territory.  He has a strong interest in treating service personnel including frontline workers such as police, military, veterans, nurses, ambulance, and firefighting.  Marco understands the importance of preventing and rehabilitating injuries and their role in helping people deal with PTSD.  With certifications under Functional Movement Systems, he also has interest in athletes and recreational gym enthusiasts in helping them improve movement and performance goals.

Outside of work, Marco tries to spend his spare time furthering his clinical knowledge, but will often be busy with his three kids including taking them to watch the Mighty Fighting Hawks.

Neil Michael is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with over 20 years experience in the health and rehabilitation industry. He has a special interest with chronic conditions, persistent pain, running, golf, balance and fall prevention and young athletes.

He is passionate about equipping and empowering clients to overcome illness and injury so they can discover life beyond limitations. 

Rachael Sacco
